Mahindra BE 6 Deliveries Begin in India; Prices Start at Rs 18.90 Lakh
In India, the Mahindra BE 6 competes with the Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, and Hyundai Creta Electric, establishing itself as a formidable player in the e-SUV segment.

Following the commencement of XEV 9e deliveries, Mahindra has now begun delivering the BE 6 in India. At present, the brand is delivering only the top-of-the-line Pack Three variants, with other versions set to be handed over to the customers gradually in a phased rollout.
Priced from Rs 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the BE 6 is the latest addition to Mahindra’s Born Electric (BE) lineup, offering a compelling mix of performance, technology, and sustainability. Boasting a bold design, a feature-packed cabin, and an advanced electric powertrain, the SUV is poised to make a strong impact in the EV segment. Equipped with cutting-edge safety and connectivity features, along with a spacious interior, it caters to modern buyers seeking a premium electric driving experience.
Mahindra BE 6: Battery Capacity
Coming to the specs, the BEV houses two LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery options: 59kWh and 79kWh. These batteries are strategically placed low within the chassis to improve stability and enhance driving dynamics. They power electric motors that generate 227bhp and 282bhp, respectively, both delivering a uniform 380Nm of torque for a balanced performance.

The top-tier 79kWh variant delivers impressive performance, accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in 6.7 seconds. Notably, the BE 6 is available exclusively with a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) configuration.

The Mahindra BE 6 showcases a striking, futuristic design characterised by bold styling elements. Its sharply contoured bonnet and distinctive C-shaped LED DRLs contribute to a dynamic and attention-grabbing appearance, while sculpted body lines emphasise its aggressive road presence. The sharply designed front bumper further enhances its sporty and aerodynamic profile.

Notable design highlights include a sloping coupe-inspired roofline, sleek character lines, LED projector headlamps, flush-fitting door handles, an illuminated BE badge on the bonnet, and full-width wraparound LED taillights. Additionally, newly designed aerodynamic alloy wheels improve efficiency and aesthetics. Combining elegance with performance-oriented styling, the BE 6 stands out as a modern electric SUV that seamlessly merges innovation with visual appeal.
Mahindra BE 6: Inside the Cabin
Inside, the Mahindra BE 6 boasts a driver-focused cabin, featuring a sleek two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated ‘BE’ emblem at its centre. The seats are upholstered in premium Grey fabric, while the drive mode selector is designed to resemble a fighter jet’s thrust lever, adding a sporty touch. Advanced amenities include dual 10.25-inch digital displays for instrumentation and infotainment, multi-zone climate control, wireless charging, and a panoramic glass roof with ambient lighting.

Moreover, the safety quotient is elevated by seven airbags, an electronic parking brake, a park assist, a 360-degree camera, and Level-2 ADAS with autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, and adaptive cruise control.
